#NFLMeanGreen - Week 14 Roundup

Dec. 13, 2016

DENTON - Three of four former Mean Green players in the National Football League were in action in Week 14, as linebacker Zach Orr (Baltimore Ravens), as well as fullback Jamize Olawale (Oakland Raiders) and running back Lance Dunbar (Dallas Cowboys) all contributed on the field, though all did so in losing efforts. Linebacker Craig Robertson (New Orleans Saints) did not play for the Saints in their 16-11 loss at Tampa Bay.

The Ravens fell to 7-6 falling 30-23 on the road to the New England Patriots. Orr once again led the Ravens in tackles with 10 and maintained his spot in the top 10 in the league in that category (fourth) with 122. Baltimore returns home to host the 5-8 Philadelphia Eagles at noon on Fox.

Olawale caught one pass for eight yards in the Raiders' 21-13 loss on the road to the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium last Thursday night. Oakland, now 10-3, travels to the 5-8 San Diego Chargers in another AFC West divisional game on Sunday at 3:25 pm on CBS.

Dunbar made three catches for 12 yards in the Cowboys' 10-7 loss at the New York Giants (8-4) on Sunday night. The loss marked the first time Dallas has tasted defeat since their Week 1 loss at home to the Giants. The Cowboys (11-2) host the Buccaneers (8-5) on Sunday Night Football at 7:25 p.m. on NBC, looking for their 12th win of the season.

Robertson's Saints fell to 5-8 after a loss to the red-hot Buccaneers, though the former Mean Green standout did not play due to a shoulder injury. The Saints travel to the desert to battle the 5-7-1 Arizona Cardinals Sunday at 3:05 p.m. on Fox.

MeanGreenSports.com will continue to follow the journeys of former Mean Green players in the NFL throughout the course of the regular season with updates every Monday (or Tuesday in the event that any former players are playing on Monday Night Football).
