Dec. 5, 2017

DENTON – Week 13 of the National Football League season is in the books, and MeanGreenSports.com has you covered for 2017’s 12th regular season installment of #NFLMeanGreen.

The week was highlighted by linebacker Craig Robertson hitting a career milestone with his 500th career tackle in the New Orleans Saints’ 31-21 win over the NFC South rival Carolina Panthers. In the game, Robertson had two three tackles in the win. Oakland Raiders running back Jamize Olawale saw action in the Raiders’ 24-17 win over the New York Giants, and Lance Dunbar played five snaps for the Los Angeles Rams.

Robertson’s red-hot Saints (9-3) travel to Atlanta to face the defending NFC champion Falcons (7-5) at 7:25 p.m. CT Thursday on both NBC and NFL Network.

Olawale and the Raiders (6-6) won their second straight game as the fullback recorded two receptions for 14 yards, catching both of his targets and added one carry for nine yards. The Raiders return to action Sunday at noon with a pivotal matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs (6-6) in a tightly packed AFC West division. The game will be broadcast live on CBS.

Dunbar’s Rams (9-3) host the Philadelphia Eagles (10-2) on Sunday at 3:25 on Fox in what has the makings of the biggest game of the NFL weekend.
