VIDEO: Life & Football With Running Back Antoinne Jimmerson

Dec. 5, 2014

Senior-to-be Antoinne Jimmerson has had his share of on and off the field struggles in his four-years at North Texas. But though his time in Denton, Jimmerson is emerging as a leader on and off the field for the Mean Green.

This season he was the leading rusher for NT with a career-high 589 yards. He moved into the top-20 all-time at North Texas with 1,579 career rushing yards. He has 22 career touchdowns and is on the verge of moving into the top-10 all-time in that category in the 2015 season.

Jimmerson has seen North Texas win 22 games in his time, which is the most wins in a four-year stretch since 2001-04. The Mean Green offense has rushed for 8,118 yards in that time, won 16 games at home, and captured a bowl championship for only the third time in school history.

But Jimmerson wants to lead North Texas to more.  He reflects back on his arrival at North Texas, how he wants to be remembered and how he wants to return North Texas to success in his senior season.
