#NFLMeanGreen: Week 12 In Review

DENTON - Week 12 of the National Football League season is in the books, and MeanGreenSports.com has you covered for 2017's 12th regular season installment of #NFLMeanGreen.

This week was highlighted by linebacker Craig Robertson's big performance for the New Orleans Saints in a matchup of two top NFC foes, though Lance Dunbar was inactive for the Rams. Oakland Raiders fullback Jamize Olawale also saw action in a win.

Though the Rams came out on top, 26-20, ending the Saints (8-3) eight-game winning streak, Robertson shined. Robertson had seven tackles (six solo) and a sack. Robertson is closing in on 500 career tackles, and is just one away from that milestone after his performance last week. New Orleans returns home to host division foe Carolina (8-3) at 3:25 p.m. CT Sunday, on Fox.

Dunbar missed the Saints clash with issues related to the same knee that kept him out for the first nine weeks of the season. Los Angeles travels to Glendale, Arizona, to take on the Arizona Cardinals (5-6), also at 3:25 p.m. and that game will also be broadcast live on Fox.

Olawale's Raiders (5-6) picked up a much-needed win, 21-14 at home against the struggling Denver Broncos (3-8). Olawale saw playing time but did not record any statistics. The Raiders remain at home next week, hosting the New York Giants (2-9), live on Fox at 3:25 p.m. CT from Oakland.
