#NFLMeanGreen: Week 10 In Review
Lance Dunbar Returns To Action, Debuts With Rams
DENTON - Week 10 of the National Football League season is in the books, and MeanGreenSports.com has you covered for 2017's 10th regular season installment of #NFLMeanGreen.
Two of the three former North Texas players in the NFL saw action this past week, as Los Angeles Rams running back Lance Dunbar, who missed the first eight games of the season for the Rams made his debut and New Orleans Saints linebacker Craig Robertson played well again in another Saints win. Fullback Jamize Olawale’s Oakland Raiders had a bye.
Dunbar’s Rams (7-2) blew out the Deshaun Watson-less Houston Texas (3-6) last week as Dunbar made his Los Angeles debut. Dunbar carried five times for 31 yards, averaging 6.2 yards per carry and had a long of 12 yards in the win. The Rams travel to take on the surprising Minnesota Vikings (7-2) this week at noon on Fox from U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
Robertson's Saints (7-2) continue to rack up the wins after their seventh straight, this time knocking off the Buffalo Bills (5-4), 47-10 on the road in Orchard Park, New York. Robertson had four tackles (two solo) in the win. Robertson is closing in on 500 career tackles, and is just 11 away from that milestone after his performance. New Orleans returns home to the Mercedes-Benz Superdome to host the Washington Redskins (4-5) at noon CT Sunday on Fox.
Olawale's Raiders (4-5) were off this past week and will take on the defending Super Bowl champions, the New England Patriots (7-2), live on CBS at 3:25 p.m. from Estadio Azteca in Mexico City.
