Orr And Boutwell Named To The Capital One Academic All-District Team
Defensive leaders picked First-team Academic All-District Team

DENTON, Texas - Senior defensive lineman Ryan Boutwell and senior linebacker Zach Orr were both named to the 2013-14 Capital One Academic All-District football teams announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America. Both players were named First-team District 7.
Orr is a Kinesiology major and has a 3.41 GPA. Boutwell, who earned his undergraduate degree, last year, is in the graduate program for Kinesiology with a GPA of 3.71.
Orr leads North Texas with 84 tackles this season and has been the backbone of the Mean Green defense that ranks in the top-20 in points allowed this season. Boutwell has started all nine games this season and has 13 tackles this season.
The Academic All©\District is divided into eight geographic districts across the United States and Canada.
This is the second year of the expanded Academic All©\America program as CoSIDA moved from recognizing a University Division (Division I) and a College Division (all non-Division I) and has doubled the number of scholar©\athletes honored.
Both players advance to the Capital One Academic All©\America Team ballot, where first©\, second©\ and third©\team All©\America honorees will be selected later this month.
