DENTON, Texas - North Texas quarterback Riley Dodge was named the Sun Belt Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season after guiding North Texas to a 68-49 win over Western Kentucky.
Dodge was responsible for seven touchdowns, throwing four and rushing for three in North Texas' 68-49 win over Western Kentucky. His seven touchdowns responsible for was just one shy of a North Texas and Sun Belt Conference record.
Dodge completed 24-0f-30 passes (80 percent) for 262 yards with no interceptions. His pass efficiency rating for the game was 197.4 and he now ranks. He also rushed 15 times for 70 yards for an average of 4.7 yards per attempt. His touchdown runs came from 3, 18 and 1-yard out.
Dodge joins Levi Brown of Troy as the only two players this season to win the Offensive Player of Week award multiple times this season.
