#NFLMeanGreen: Week Six Recap

Oct. 17, 2017

DENTON - Week six of the National Football League season is in the books, and MeanGreenSports.com has you covered for 2017's sixth regular season installment of #NFLMeanGreen.

One of the three former North Texas players in the NFL, New Orleans Saints linebacker Craig Robertson had a monster game in a win, while Oakland Raiders fullback Jamize Olawale was out this week with a concussion. Los Angeles Rams running back Lance Dunbar is eligible to come off the PUP/Reserve list, after missing the first six weeks with a knee injury. It is not yet clear whether Dunbar will be activated this week, but is said to be healthy, according to Rams head coach Sean McVay.

Robertson's Saints (3-2) won again, knocking off the Detroit Lions (3-3), 52-38 in New Orleans. Robertson had a season-best 11 tackles (four solo), and had a sack, forced fumble and fumble recovery (all on one play, which you can watch here). New Orleans travel to Green Bay to take on the Aaron Rodgers-less Packers (4-2) at noon on Fox.

Olawale's Raiders (2-4) dropped their fourth straight game, after a 17-16 loss at home to the Los Angeles Chargers (2-4). Oakland remains in the Bay Area to host the Kansas City Chiefs (5-1) at 7:25 p.m. CT on Thursday Night Football on CBS and NFL Network.

The Rams (4-2) beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 27-17 on the road. Los Angeles heads to London to take on the Arizona Cardinals (3-3) Sunday afternoon at 12 p.m. on Fox from Twickenham Stadium.
