The Owls are coming off a three-game road trip that ended in a 52-10 loss to Texas.

In that lone meeting North Texas trailed 3-2 before scoring 31 straight point en route to victory. The Mean Green pounded the Owls on the ground that game, piling up 270 yards rushing and 486 yards overall. Byron Gross racked up 11 tackles, a sack and one pass breakup for the Mean Green defense.
