#NFLMeanGreen: Week 3 In Review

Sept. 26, 2017

DENTON - Week three of the National Football League season is in the books, and MeanGreenSports.com has you covered for 2017's third regular season installment of #NFLMeanGreen.

Two of the three former North Texas players in the NFL, Oakland Raiders fullback Jamize Olawale made his season debut, while New Orleans Saints linebacker Craig Robertson saw action again this week. Los Angeles Rams running back Lance Dunbar remains out with a knee injury and is on the PUP/Reserve list, meaning the earliest he can return to the field is Week 7.

Olawale's Raiders fell to 2-1 after a disappointing 27-10 loss on the road against the Washington Redskins. Olawale finished with one tackle, on special teams in his season debut. Oakland remains on the road and travels to take on their division foe, the Denver Broncos (2-1) at 3:25 p.m. CT on CBS.

Robertson's Saints (1-2) picked up a huge win at Carolina (2-1), drubbing the Panthers 34-13. Though Robertson saw action, he did not record any statistics. New Orleans travel to Wembley Stadium in London to take on the Miami Dolphins (1-1) Sunday at 8:30 a.m. CT live on Fox.

The Rams (2-1) held off the San Francisco 49ers (0-3) on Thursday Night Football, with a 41-39 win. Los Angeles travels to take on the Dallas Cowboys (2-1) Sunday afternoon at AT&T Stadium at 12 p.m. on Fox.

Be sure to follow the former Mean Green players in the NFL throughout the remainder of the regular season here on MeanGreenSports.com each Tuesday.
