Apogee Premium Seating Options Going Fast
Ticket Sales Increased From Last Two Years
DENTON – For the first time since Apogee Stadium opened in 2011, all 21 luxury suites have been sold for the 2017 season and club seat season ticket sales have increased from last year by nearly seven percent, the North Texas Athletics department announced Thursday.
Total season-ticket revenue for Mean Green football games has increased by nearly 12 percent from 2016 and nearly 18 percent since 2015. North Texas also added premium seating with two end-zone cabanas this year, and both of those are sold out for every game.
North Texas has launched a five-game season ticket package for the remaining five games, with prices beginning at $50 for general admission or $135 for reserved seating. Fans will have a chance to take part in several special events in the final five games, including Champions Weekend and Family Weekend on Sept. 23, Hayden Fry 1977 team reunion on Oct. 14, Halloween blackout game on Oct. 28, homecoming on Nov. 11 and military appreciation on Nov. 18 vs. Army.
The North Texas ticket office is sponsoring special group sales promotions this year, allowing groups of 500 or more to have pregame field access. North Texas hosted a group of 800 for the season-opening win over Lamar, which was the largest group sales since Apogee opened.
Time is running out to purchase tickets to the SMU pregame tailgate and to the North Texas-SMU game this Saturday. Contact the North Texas ticket office at 940-565-2527 or go online to www.MeanGreenSports.com/tickets.
