#NFLMeanGreen: Preseason Week Two
Robertson Makes 2017 Preseason Debut
DENTON – With the National Football League’s preseason entering week two, it is again time to revisit those in the league that once called Denton home in 2017’s second installment of #NFLMeanGreen.
One of the three former North Texas players in the NFL, New Orleans Saints linebacker Craig Robertson saw action in the first week of the preseason. Oakland Raiders fullback Jamize Olawale did not appear in the Raiders’ preseason opener and sat out of practice late last week for undisclosed reasons. Los Angeles Rams running back Lance Dunbar remains out with a knee injury and is currently on the Rams’ physically unable to perform list.
Robertson’s Saints fell 20-14 in Cleveland to open their preseason, though the linebacker did not record any stats. Robertson and the Saints will face the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday night at 7 p.m. CT and the game will be broadcast live on NFL Network.
Olawale’s Raiders, who fell 20-10 at Arizona last week, host Dunbar’s Rams Saturday night at 9 p.m. in Oakland. The Rams picked up a 13-10 win at home over the Dallas Cowboys last week, and are 1-0 on the young preseason.
