DENTON (7/1/08) - Mean Green Athletics is proud to once again serve as a major sponsor of the Denton Noon Kiwanis Club and its annual Fourth of July Fireworks Show at Fouts Field.
The show will be held this Friday, July 4th at the home of the Mean Green with gates opening at 5:30 pm. Admission is free for an evening that includes live music beginning at 6:30 pm featuring local musicians “Thad Bonduris and the Fun Addix." Only the west side stands will be open and people are encouraged to enter at Gate 1.
Concessions will be available and there will be bounce houses for the kids. While the event, now in its 35th year, is still FREE, the Kiwanis Club wants to remind everyone that the familiar “Bucket Brigade” will be on duty that night to collect funds for the Kiwanis Children’s Clinic a network of doctors and dentists who provide their services to children from economically disadvantaged homes in Denton County. The evening concludes with a powerful pyrotechnic display that is choreographed to popular, patriotic music. For more information, please contact the Denton Noon Kiwanis Club at 940-387-6323.
