Student-Athletes Look Back On Their Careers
Being a successful college student-athlete requires hard work, dedication, patience and drive. What about the experience makes it worth having tired and beaten bodies, managing a schedule packed with class, practice, study hall, team meetings, games, community service projects and very little personal time? What is the reward for so many personal sacrifices?
We talked with several Mean Green student-athletes who are nearing the end of their collegiate athletics careers to ask them these questions. Is there something or someone that inspires them?
