DENTON, Texas - Dallas Cowboys Executive Vice President and Chief Brand Officer Charlotte Jones Anderson was the keynote speaker at the Salvation Army of Denton County's annual luncheon, which took place Tuesday at the Hub Club of Apogee Stadium.
The luncheon was attended by over 250 notable business and political figures of the Denton area, and is expected to be one of the largest fundraisers in the history of the Salvation Army of Denton County. North Texas graduate and Fox Sports TV personality Dave Barnett was the emcee.
In 2010, Jones Anderson became the first woman to serve as chairperson of the Salvation Army's National Advisory Board. She has served in the front office of the Dallas Cowboys since 1989, and currently oversees all strategies and applications surrounding the team's brand as it is presented to fans world-wide, including fan engagement, entertainment, licensed apparel, cause marketing, community service, as well as stadium design and operation.
Tuesday's fundraiser was one of over a hundred non-athletics related events hosted by the Apogee Stadium Hub Club, which has quickly become the premier banquet venue in the area.
