DENTON - The final act in the college-football careers of the Mean Green's 2014 senior class takes place this Wednesday, April 2, when North Texas holds its annual pro day, which will be streamed live on for the first time.

Pro days are held at universities across the nation each spring, offering draft-eligible players one last chance to impress NFL scouts. Each player has his height, weight and wing span measured, then participates in a series of drills, all under the watch of visiting scouts and coaches.

Among those expected to participate in the North Texas pro day are Richard Abbe, Aaron Bellazin, Ryan Boutwell, Brandin Byrd, Brelan Chancellor, Brandon McCoy, Drew Miller, Zach Orr, Darnell Smith, Derek Thompson, Marcus Trice and Will Wright.

The pro-day broadcast will begin at 11 a.m., and will include highlights from the morning's vertical jump, broad jump and the bench-press repetition test, then go live on the turf at Apogee Stadium for the 40-yard dash, short shuttle, three-cone drill, and the position drills, which this year includes the passing workout of quarterback Derek Thompson, who was last seen earning the MVP award at the Heart of Dallas Bowl.

The broadcast will be hosted by Steven Bartolotta and Hank Dickenson, and is expected to include guests such as former Mean Green stars Craig Robertson and Patrick Cobbs.

The pro-day broadcast will be shown on All-Access, and is part of the package for April that includes the Green-White spring football game on April 12 and four North Texas softball games, all for $9.99. Click here to subscribe.
