NFL Draft Combine Notebook - Friday
Look Back At Wilson's Media Availability, Ahead To Pro Day
INDIANAPOLIS – As we look at running back Jeffery Wilson’s experience in Indianapolis at the NFL Draft Combine, we have looked at all of his activities throughout the week.
Wilson was advised this week by medical personnel on hand that he was better-served to postpone his on-field testing until North Texas’ pro day. Several teams agreed during meetings with the Elkhart, Texas, native and suggested Wilson focus on the other aspects of his combine experience.
Wilson posted 15 reps Thursday during the bench press, tying for 16th among the 29 running backs who competed. Three opted not to participate for a variety of reasons.
Below is a look at his media availability Thursday:

North Texas’ pro day will take place on Friday, March 30, at Apogee Stadium. Wilson and several Mean Green hopefuls are slated to participate in a workout in front of a large number of NFL scouts.
The NFL Draft comes to Irving this April, taking place at AT&T Stadium April 26-28. Wilson and company are vying to become the first Mean Green player(s) drafted since Cody Spencer in 2004.
