DENTON - North Texas football student-athlete Malik Dilonga spent part of his Wednesday morning reading "Oh, The Thinks You Can Think!" by Dr. Seuss to a classroom of students at Ginnings Elementary School.

Dilonga and several of his teammates participated in NEA's Read Across America Day, a nation-wide reading celebration that takes place annually on March 2, Dr. Seuss's birthday. Players teamed up with the members of the UNT Pi Beta Phi chapter to help encourage reading and learning.

Kenny Buyers
, Quinn Shanbour, Sam Wells, Jareid Combs, Creighton Barr and Alec Morris split up into pairs and took time to visit classrooms from 2nd grade to 5th grade levels, reading a book and spending time with the children to talk about continuing to take their education seriously and keep reaching for your dreams.
