NFL Draft Combine Notebook - Thursday
Wilson Weighs In, Discusses First Few Days In Indianapolis
INDIANAPOLIS -- As we look at running back Jeffery Wilson's experience in Indianapolis at the NFL Draft Combine, we will post a diary of his activities throughout the week. MeanGreenSports.com will provide daily updates on Wilson, as well as some sit-down interviews with the former Mean Green running back.
Wilson's dedication in the weight room was evident, as he weighed in at 210 pounds Wednesday. That should certainly raise some eyebrows with scouts and general managers due to Wilson's playing weight slightly under 200 while at North Texas in 2017.
Wilson continued his testing Thursday morning, taking the Wonderlic test and participating in an NFL Players Association meeting.
Wilson posted 15 reps of 225 pounds during the bench press. Wilson's 15 reps tied for 16th among the 29 running backs that participated, besting the efforts of the following players: Bo Scarbrough (Alabama) - 14, Rashad Penny (San Diego State) - 13, Kyle Hicks (TCU) - 13, Justin Jackson (Northwestern) - 13, DeMario Richard (Arizona State) - 12, Akrum Wadley (Iowa) - 12, Justin Crawford (West Virginia) - 11 and Kerryon Johnson (Auburn) - 11. Wilson's mark of 15 equaled that of LSU offensive lineman K.J. Malone and bested Oklahoma tackle Orlando Brown.

Additionally he participated in a media availability session and is scheduled for more sit-downs with NFL team representatives later this evening.
