Littrell Finalizes 2018 Signing Class
Mean Green Add Five Student-Athletes To Conclude 2018 Class
DENTON - The North Texas football team added five signees to its 2018 recruiting class Wednesday, completing a 19-man group heavy on linebackers and defensive backs.
The class is comprised of 19 student-athletes from six states and features 14 high-school signees and five junior-college transfers. The class features five linebackers and four defensive backs. North Texas inked 12 on defense and seven on offense.
"Finishing up this class with the level of talent these kids have is something we are very excited about," head football coach Seth Littrell said. "Adding these five to the guys we signed in December gives us a group who we believe will be a big part of us continuing to work towards achieving our goals of becoming conference champions and winning bowl games. That is our new standard at North Texas, and these young men will help us get there."
Six student-athletes from this class are already enrolled at UNT and will participate in spring activities. Four junior college transfers, Darrian McMillan, Thomas Preston III, Tuulau Saafi and DeAndre Torrey, and freshmen Dayton LeBlanc and Kason Martin are on campus.
Spring practice is slated to begin on Wednesday, Feb. 21.
