Aaron Bellazin – DE – 6-2 –  230 lbs – Everman, TX
(Everman HS)

Played defensive tackle in high school but will make the transition to defensive end at North Texas … Chosen to the TOC 2009 Class 4A DFW All-Area Team … Named 2009 TOC Class 4A All-State Second Team Defense …. Was a unanimous first-team all-84A selection as a junior … Named to the second-team all 8-4A as a sophomore backup … Was a three-star athlete according to Rivals.com.

Brandin Byrd – RB – 5-11 – 185 lbs – Copperas Cove, TX (Copperas Cove HS)
Named to the 2009 District 5A-12 Second Team … Selected to the Killeen Daily Herald’s 2009 All Area Second Team offense … Ran for 980 yards on 125 attempts and 12 TD’s as a senior … Rushed for 1,061 yards on 167 carries and 10 TD’s in 2008 … Totaled 2,379 yards rushing on 353 carries and 27 TD’s throughout high school … Is a two-star athlete according to Rivals.com.
Brelan Chancellor – WR – 5-9 – 170 lbs – Copperas Cove, TX (Copperas Cove HS)
A versatile athlete who played running back in high school but was recruited by North Texas to be a slot receiver … Rushed for 621 yards in 2009 … In 2008 was named first-team all-district 12-5A … Scored 12 TD’s as a junior and led the team with a 7.6 yards per carry.

Blake Dunham – ATH –  6-1 – 200 lbs – Argyle, TX

Named to 2009 Denton Record Chronicle All-Area Team … Named District 9-3A First Team … Was second on the team in tackles in 2009 with 123 … Recorded six tackles for loss, five pass break-ups, three forced fumbles, one interception and one blocked kick in his senior season … Led the team in rushing touchdowns with seven … In 2008, he recorded 75 tackles, four tackles for loss, four sacks and one interception.

Graylan Hawkins – OL – 6-4 – 250 lbs –  Dallas, TX

Was a first-team all-district 9-5A selection … Played OL and DL … Totaled over 40 tackles and six sacks in 2008.

Antonio Johnson – OL – 6-6, – 270 lbs – Diboll, TX

Blocked for a running game that totaled 2,270 yards on the year and 26 touchdowns, which included a 1,200 yard rusher …Recorded 20 tackles, 18 of which were solo … Lettered in football and basketball his senior year.

Zach Olen – K – 5-9 – 210 lbs – Richardson, TX
(Berkner HS)

Kicker and Punter in high school … Registered 34 punts for an average of 38.88 yards per punt with 9 downed inside the 20 and a long of 52 yards … Made 10 of 15 field goals with a long of 47 yards … Collected 33 touchbacks on only 56 kickoffs.

Zachary Orr – LB – 6-0 – 240 lbs – DeSoto, TX

Was a 2009 Pre-Season Second Team Defense selection … As a junior he made 157 tackles, 24 of which were for losses, 11 sacks, one interception and three fumble recoveries … Selected Class 5A All-State and all-district 11-5A his junior season … Was a three-star athlete according to Rivals.com.

Derrick Teegarden – QB – 6-0 – 170 lbs – Odessa, TX
(Odessa HS)

Was the 2009 2-5A Offensive Player of the Year … Completed 155-of-224 passes for 1,911 yards, 18 TD’s and four interceptions in 2009 … Also rushed for 833 yards on 109 carries and nine TD’s … In 2008 was named first-team all-district and all-state honorable mention after completing 151-of-233 passes for 2,224 yards, 24 TD’s and 10 interceptions … Also rushed for 743 yards on 114 carries and 10 TD’s his junior season … Selected second-team all-district his sophomore season while throwing nine touchdowns and running for four more.

Starred in a defense that allowed only 264.9 yards per game in 2009, which ranked among the best in the area … Named to District 10-5A First Team … Hauled in nine interceptions, and made 75 tackles from his sport at corner.
Mason Y’Barbo – OL – 6-2 – 290 lbs – Sulphur Springs, TX (Sulphur Springs HS)
Helped pave the way for an offense that racked up 2,278 rushing yards, averaging 5.8 yards per carry and 30 touchdowns … 2009 offense averaged almost 30 points per game and scored 384 on the year … Was a reason the offense averaged 406 yards per game.

Brad Graham – LB – 6-1 – 210 lbs – 40: 4.6 – Houston, TX (Navarro College)

Played in nine game in 2009 while compiling 38 tackles, 11.5 of which were for losses (-49 yards) … Also had six sacks (-37 yards), one forced fumble, two pass breakups and one fumble recovery for 64 yards … In 2008 was named second-team All-American Pacific Division … In high school was selected second-team All-Golden League and competed in four years of wrestling.

Jamize Olawale – TE – 6-2 –  237 lbs – Long Beach, CA

Played in seven games in 2009 accumulating 276 yards on 11 receptions and three touchdowns … In 2008 he played four games and caught four passes for 59 yards.

D’Andre Wood – DB – 6-0 – 192 lbs – Charleston, SC (New Mexico Military Institute)
