Waters Selected To Pro Bowl After Record Setting Season

(01-14-05) - Former North Texas Football standout and Kansas City Chiefs offensive guard Brian Waters was selected to play in the NFL Pro Bowl in Honolulu, HI on Feb. 13.

Waters, in his fifth NFL season, is making his first trip to the Pro Bowl after an impressive year leading the record setting Chiefs offensive line.

In October, Waters became the first lineman to ever be named the American Football Conference's Offensive Player of the Week when he paved the way for Chief's running backs to rumble for an NFL record eight touchdowns against the Atlanta Falcons.

Drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in 1998, Waters has started 55 consecutive games for the Chiefs dating back to the 2001 season.

Waters lettered at North Texas from 1995-98 and was selected first team All-Big West Conference at defensive tackle in 1998.
