• Became the first freshman to run for over 100 yards (101 on 18 carries with a touchdown vs. Lamar on 9/2) since Jamario Thomas in 2004
• In addition to his strong rushing performance on 9/2 vs. Lamar, Smith also caught a team-high four passes for 35 yards and a touchdown in his collegiate debut
