• Earned Conference USA Defensive Player of the Week with a 45-yard fumble return for a touchdown against UTSA, the team’s first defensive touchdown of the season and the first fumble recovery for a touchdown since 2014
• Played in 12 games with 11 starts at free safety
• Led the team with 110 tackles, the second-most tackles by a safety in school history
• Combined with James Gray to become the first safety duo in school history to each record 100 total tackles
• Also recorded 2.5 tackles for loss, an interception, two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, three pass break-ups and four passes defended
• Led the team in tackles against Rice, Southern Miss, Marshall, UTSA and UTEP, totaling a career-high 16 tackles against Rice
• Finished with double-digit tackles in five different games, against Rice, Iowa, Marshall, UTSA and UTEP

2014:

• Was named to the Conference USA All-Freshmen team
• Saw action in all 12 games, recording 39 tackles, including a half tackle for loss and an interception
• Intercepted a Southern Miss pass and recorded nine tackles in his first collegiate start at North Texas
