Recorded his only interception in the New Orleans Bowl, returning it 20 yards for a touchdown to give North Texas a decisive 17-7 lead late in the first half... Made at least one tackle in every game... Finished with 25 tackles... Had a season-high five stops against TCU... His four pass break-ups tied for fourth best on the team... Three of those break-ups came against South Florida.
Made the successful transition from quarterback to cornerback, playing in all 12 games on special teams and at cornerback and earning his first letter... Played most of the second half at cornerback against Colorado State in the New Orleans Bowl, recording three tackles.

Pearl threw for 1,256 yards as a senior and was an honorable mention all-conference pick for Coach Bill Sobbe at Park Hill High School. He also had three interceptions while playing in the secondary as a senior and lettered in basketball and track. Jeremy is the son of Mike and Vivian Wallace and was born October 20, 1980 in Kansas City, Missouri. His father played with North Texas Head Coach Darrell Dickey as a wide receiver at Kansas State.
