High School/Personal
Hobbs was a first team all-state, all-city and all-district center his senior season for Coach Chris Stiles at Westmoore High School, leading his team to a 9-3 record and the state quarterfinals. As a junior at Snyder (TX) High School he was an all-district while leading the Tigers to the Class 4A Division II playoffs. He blocked for running back Cheyenne Robinson who rushed for over 1,100 yards in 1997. Ian is the son of Bobby and Judy Hobbs and was born August 20, 1980 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
