Was named to the second-team all-conference as the anchor of the offensive line … Started 11 games last season as he helped pave the way for the emergence of Lance Dunbar at the running back spot … Was a leader of an offensive line unit that led the Sun Belt Conference and ranked 12th nationally in sacks allowed with just 12 … Was helped the team lead the league in rushing (185.2 yards per game) and was a key part of an offense that was one of only two in the nation to finish the year in the top 15 in sacks allowed as well as finish in the top 30 in rushing and top 50 in passing.

Paved the way for a near 1,000 yard rusher in Cam Montgomery (928 yards) … Pass protected to help former wide receiver Casey Fitzgerald put up 1,000 yards receiving, six touchdowns and an NCAA leading 9.42 receptions per game … Started all 12 games.

One of only five returning lettermen to start all 12 games in 2007 for the Mean Green … Allowed only four sacks during the season … Anchored an offensive line that helped Jamario Thomas tally out a season-high 147 rushing yards and three touchdowns.
