DENTON -- The North Texas men’s basketball team hopes to snap a three-game losing streak when they face its first road test of the season against Northern Iowa Monday, Nov. 30 at 7 p.m. inside the McLeod Center.

The Mean Green are coming off three-straight home losses against Idaho (L, 65-63), Samford (L, 74-72) and Troy (L, 86-74). Junior J-Mychal Reese is second on the team in scoring at 12.6 points per game and is shooting a team best 94 percent from the free throw line (18-of-19), which is ranked 18th in the nation.

As a team, North Texas is averaging 86.2 points per game and is 25th nationally in scoring offense. The Mean Green are also 35th in the nation in free throws made after making 109 in five games. The team is hoping to take care of recent turnover problems having 82 (16.4 per game) in the first five games.
