North Texas Cross Country Takes Down Ranked Texas

Men’s Team Claims Third Title, Women Places Third

Cross Country:
-Competed in the C-USA Championships, where she placed 58th (19:02.08)
-Finished 46th at the Ken Garland invitational with a time of 20:01.4
Placed 46th at the Baylor Twilight Invitational with a time of 15:51.2
-Placed 25th at the Gerald Richey Invitational with a time of 19:30.2

-Placed fifth in the J. D. Martin Invite mile run (5:29.72)
-Finished 11th in the mile run at the Texas A&M Invite with a time of 5:24.45
-Finished 17th at the Howie Ryan Invite with a 3000M time of 10:52.10
-Placed 21st in the Longhorn Invite 1500M run with a time of 5:03.95, a season-best

Cross Country:
-Competed at the NCAA South Central Regionals
-Placed in the top-20 at the Ken Garland Invitational 5K, 18th (19:42.17)
-Posted a season-best 5K at the Chile Pepper Festival 5K, 96th place (19:29.6)

-Finished fifth in the 1500M at the J.D. Martin Invitational (5:29.72)
-Had a season best 1500M run (5:03.95) at the Longhorn Invite
-Finished within the top 30 at three outdoor meets in three events: the 1500M, 3000M and 5000M

Cross Country:
-Captured a 20th-place finish in the Ken Garland Invitational 5K
-Ran a career best 6K in 24:08.3 at the Chile Pepper Festival
-Finish 46th at the SBC Championships
-Ran a 25:07.6 6K at the NCAA South Central Region Championships

High School

-Named academic all-state as well as cross country three years
-Was a member of Antonian College Preparatory's back-to-back-to-back TAPPS 5A cross country state championship teams
-Qualified for state in the 3200-meter run her freshman year and regional's in the 800-meter run in 2012
-Named first team all-district for soccer as well as state honorable mention her senior year
-Lettered in four years in soccer, and two years in track and cross country.
