White Runs His Way Onto World Junior Championship Team




DES MOINES, Iowa - North Texas track star Steven White went up against some of the best in the nation and ran his onto the World Junior Championship team at the U.S. National Championship. White ran a person best time of 51.19 in the 400-meter hurdles, finishing second in the event, and earning a spot onto the team.

White advances to run at the World Junior Championship held July 19-25 in Moncton, Canada.

Alysha Adams finished in 16th place in the 100-meter hurdles in the semifinals. Adams was racing in the senior heats of the event and facing some of the fastest hurdlers in the nation.  She had a time of 13.91 in the semifinal heat.
