DENTON, Texas - North Texas track & field looks to finish its regular season strong this weekend as it plays host to the Mean Green twilight meet at Fouts Field on Saturday.
The Mean Green will be joined by 15 other schools, including national powers Baylor, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Texas Tech and TCU.
Freshman Terrance Williams, who currently sits in the No. 10 spot in the NCAA West Region in the long jump, will be looking to capture his fourth event title this season and second at home.
Senior hurdler Alysha Adams and the men's 4x400 meter relay will be the only members of North Texas not in attendance at the meet as they were selected to participate in the prestigious Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa.
Saturday events will start at 10 a.m. with the pole vault, long jump, shot put and javelin throw and continue throughout the afternoon. Running will begin at 6 p.m. with the 4x100 meter relays.
