DENTON, Texas - Twenty-Four Mean Green track & field events will compete at the 84th annual Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays Wednesday through Saturday at Mike A. Myers Stadium on the campus of the University of Texas.
Senior Alysha Adams, who was name the Sun Belt Conference Women's Track Athlete of the Week for the fourth time on Tuesday, leads North Texas with the fifth fastest 100-meter hurdle time in the nation.
Steven White, a sophomore who competed as a member of the USA Junior World Championship team last summer, will take the lead on the men's side.
White currently holds the 25th fastest 400-meter hurdle team in the NCAA West and leads the Sun Belt Conference by over a second in the event. He will also be a member of the 4 x 400-meter relay team, which holds the 14th fastest time in the West.
Freshman Terrance Williams will be competing in his first Texas Relays as a member of the Mean Green, thanks to his long jump of 7.53 meters at the North Texas Classic two weeks ago. That span currently ranks him first in the Sun Belt Conference and No. 5 in the NCAA West.
