T&F Heads South For Prestigious Texas Relays

DENTON, Texas (3/26/13) – North Texas track & field heads to Austin, Texas this weekend for the 86th annual running of the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays at Mike A. Myers Track Stadium as well as attending Texas State’s Bobcat Invitational held at the Texas State University Track & Field Stadium.

Week Three Notes 

Action at the Texas Relays kicks off on Wednesday with the women's hepthathlon at 10:30 a.m. followed by the men's decathlon.

Thursday evening, March 28, will highlight several of the distance disciplines, including the University/College 1,500 meters, 5,000 meters and 10,000 meters races. 

Friday evening, March 29, will showcase men and women University/College events for the field, including pole vault, shot put and long jump. Friday night will also feature the sprint medley and distance medley relays. 

The Texas Relays will begin on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. with the women’s heptathlon from the Mike A. Myers Track Stadium on the campus of the University of Texas and run through Saturday afternoon. Live results can be found HERE

Action in San Marcos begins Thursday, March 28, with the women’s pole vault and men’s decathlon at 11 a.m. at the Texas State University Track & Field Stadium. Thursday will be a light day with some field events as well as the multi-event decathlon and heptathlon.
