NORMAN, Oklahoma – Senior Chastity Stewart set a meet record in the 100-meter hurdles leading the women’s track and field team to a third-place finish Saturday at the John Jacobs Invitational.

The Mean Green posted 21 top-10 finishes as the women’s team finished third (81.5 points) among nine teams and the men’s squad was sixth (69 points) against eight teams.

Stewart earned her third outdoor first-place finish in the 100m hurdles with a personal best time of 13.24. Stewart's performance is one of the fastest times in school history and was one-second faster than Alysha Adams's 13.25 time on June 25, 2011. 

The women’s 4x100-meter relay team took second as Stewart, senior Mona Landry, Nadiyah El-Amin and junior Jazmine Martin touched in at 45.86.

Senior Eddie Wilcox took home his fourth outdoor high jump title matching his career-best mark of 2.17 meters (7-1.50 feet).

Martin earned a first-place finish in the triple jump with a career-best mark of 12.77 meters (41-10.75 feet). Sophomore Chelsea Classo came in third in the triple jump with a career-best mark of 12.21 meters (40-0.75 feet).

Landry finished second in the long jump falling short of her second-straight title at a season-best mark of 5.98 meters (19-7.50 feet).

Senior Nadiyah El-Amin finished third in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.89. Freshman Justin Joe matched his season-best time of 10.50 in the 100m dash and finished fourth.

Senior Ngozi Nweke finished seventh in the discus with a new personal record throw of 49.15 meters (161-3.25 feet).

-Sophomore Chelsea Crayton finished 10th in the 100m hurdles with a career-best time of 14.35
-Crayton came in sixth in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:02.40
-Freshman Jared Bailey-Sampson finished ninth in the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.83
-Sophomore Tevaun Scallion came in 10th in the 100m hurdles with a time of 14.91
-Senior Kedron Sowells was sixth in the 100-meter dash with a season-best time of 10.57
-Sowells took fourth in the 200m dash with a time of 21.68
-Sophomore Gabriel McAdams finished 10th in the pole vault at 4.58 meters (15-0.25 feet)
-Junior Dominique Drayden came in sixth in the triple jump at 14.46 meters (47-5.25 feet)
-Stewart finished sixth in the 200-meter dash with a career-best time of 24:28
-El-Amin took seventh in the 200m dash with a time of 24:49
-Senior Connor Bey came in ninth with a time of 21.88
