T&F Finishes Day Two At Mt. SAC Relays And Begins John Jacobs Invite

WALNUT, Calif. -The North Texas track and field team had three personal-best performances, completing day two at the Mt. SAC Relays, in Walnut, Calif., and Friday's field events at the John Jacobs Invitational, in Norman Okla.

Troy Taylor was second in section three of the 1500-meter run; his time of 3:47.81 was a personal-best by four seconds and placed 11th overall. Teammate Bryce McAndrew took three seconds off his personal best and ran a 3:53.21, also taking second in his section.

In Norman, Okla., the Mean Green women's hammer throw was led by Tori Clark, who finished second in her flight and eighth in the event with a personal-best of 48.01m. In ninth was teammate Deja McKnight who threw a distance of 46.59m.

Saturday's competition at the John Jacobs Track and Field Complex will begin at 11 a.m. with the women's javelin and 12:15 p.m. with the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase.

The final day of the Mt. SAC Relays will begin at 9 a.m. PT. in Walnut, Calif. For live results click here
