Texas Relays Results Get Acrobat Reader 

AUSTIN, Texas -The North Texas track and field team completed competition at the 87th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays in Austin, Texas, Saturday, Mar.29.

Sophomore Troy Taylor placed sixth in the men’s mile run with a season-best time of 4:07.21. He was the third collegiate runner in the event.

In the men’s 800m relay, Clinton Collins, Kedron Sowells, Caleb Pryor and Collin Heard teamed together to place ninth with a time of 1:25.60.

On the women’s side, the team of Ashley Henry, Nadiyah El-Amin, Kayla Savoie, Rhenique Williams finished 11th in the 800m relay, with a time of 1:37.17.

Throughout the weekend, the Mean Green grabbed two top-three finishes; Charlotte Wilson in the women’s 3000m steeplechase, breaking her own school record by nearly 10 seconds, and freshman Elisha Peter's season-best performance in the long jump in 1.75m.

Up next is the North Texas Classic, Saturday, April 5, where the Mean Green will honor its senior class for their hard work and dedication to the program.
