Brittani Richards joined North Texas in April 2017 as head coach for the North Texas Dancers.

A graduate of Florida State University, Richards received her bachelor’s degree in family and child sciences while a four-year member of the FSU Golden Girls Dance Team.

In her professional dance career, Richards was a Redline Lady Panthers Cheerleader for the Florida Panthers Hockey Club as well as a member of the Dallas Cowboys Rhythm & Blue Dancers, the only coed Hip-Hop dance team in the NFL.

She is an accredited judge for the Universal Dance Association as well as the National Dance Alliance through the Varsity Spirit Corporation. In 2014, Brittani returned to her alma mater to serve as the head coach for the Florida State Golden Girls Dance Team for three years.
