DENTON, Texas (1/25/13) - North Texas tennis travels to College Station, Texas to participate in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Kick-Off Weekend to begin the
National Team Indoor Championships, January 26-27, 2013.

The Mean Green will face 17th-rated Texas
A&M in the first match of the tournament. Joining North Texas and the
Aggies will be No. 27 Arizona and No. 39 Minnesota.
"Texas A&M is a very talented team with great depth. We will be challenged to bring our best and we are looking forward to it."
Arizona defeated the Gophers from Minnesota in the first round of
the NCAA Tournament this season, while the Aggies lost in the second round to
the 15th-seeded Michigan Wolverines.
Each team participating in the kick-off is guaranteed two matches,
with the 15 teams from the regional sites that win both of their matches will
advance to the National Indoor Championships.
The selection into the 2013 Kick-Off Weekend marks only the second
time that North Texas has been selected to participate in the first team
national championship of the year as the Mean Green appeared in the
Cal-Berkeley site in 2011.
