DENTON, Texas (1/24/13) - Mean Green track & field heads south to
Houston for the lone time in 2013 for the Howie Ryan Invitational & Multi's
held at the Yeoman Field House on the campus of the University of Houston.
North Texas is coming off an impressive showing at the JD Martin
Invitational that produced 27 top-five spots as well as five first-place
finishes.
Week Three Notes
Clint Collins, who won the 200-meter dash in 21.40 and placed third in
the 60-meter dash, was selected Sun Belt Conference Runner Athlete of the Week
for the week of Jan. 23-30. His time in the 200-meter dash also places him at
29th in the NCAA Division I Indoor Qualifying List.
The Howie Ryan Invitational & Multi's begins Friday at 11:30 a.m.
with the women's weight throw. Saturday's events begin at 9 a.m. with the
women's shot put. Live results will be posted through UH's timing company, Flash Results Texas.
