NEW ORLEANS - The Sun Belt Conference named junior Rebecca Taylor the diver of the week today.
Taylor won two of the three
dives this weekend at the UIW Invitational in her hometown of San Antonio,
Texas. She won the first two dives of the meet, the one meter dive with a final
score of 264.40 and the three meter dive with mark of 267.80.
The junior finished the weekend with a
strong performance on the platform, finishing second with a score of 198.05.
Taylor and the Mean Green return to action on Jan. 9, 2013
against Youngstown State in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
