DENTON, Texas (10/11/12) - The North Texas cross country teams travel
to Fayetteville, Ark. this weekend to participate in the 24th Annual Chile
Pepper Festival.
The Mean Green will compete with more than 80 college teams, including
conference foes UALR, Arkansas State, Louisiana-Lafayette, Louisiana-Monroe and
newcomer Georgia State, on University of Arkansas' off road course. The course
is a combination of grass, cinder and uneven terrain.
The men will run a 10K race beginning at 9:45, while the women run a 6K
race beginning at 10:30.
A recap of this weekend's races will be posted on Saturday afternoon.
