DENTON, Texas (9/26/12) - The North Texas tennis team
travels to San Diego this weekend to compete in the SDSU Fall Classic I at the
Aztec Tennis Center. The three-day tournament runs through Sunday and will
feature six teams from around the country.
"Our goal is use
the success we had in Austin and keep building in this upcoming tournament,"
head coach Sujay Lama said. "Now that the rust is off, we should be able to
play freely and improve on our execution."
The Mean Green will compete against the host SDSU, San
Diego, Cal State Northridge, Loyola Marymount and Pepperdine. The tournament
includes five singles brackets and three doubles draws.
