Mean Green Involved in The Community

DENTON, Texas (3/8/13) - North Texas student-athletes helped a local elementary school "Share their Breakfast" earlier this week.

The athletes visited with Denton's Hodge Elementary school, in order to promote the Kellogg's "Share Your Breakfast" campaign.  This campaign was put in motion to try to encourage families to make breakfast a priority.  The student-athletes had a chance to have breakfast with the young students and talk to them about what they eat in the morning to get their days started off right.

"Being from Denton, it's great to give back to my hometown," said soccer student-athlete Kesley Hodges. "Seeing the kids' faces light up when you sit with them is an awesome feeling.  It's great to have that kind of effect on someone."

To help Kellogg's efforts, go here to watch the video.  Every time the video is viewed, Kellogg's will donate one breakfast to a child who might not otherwise have one.
