DENTON, Texas (7/22/09) – Freshman sprinter Keyth Talley can
now count the days till the biggest meet of his life on two hands. Only nine
days remain till the 2009 National Junior Champion of the 200-meter dash competes
on the world stage of the Pan American Games, which begins July 31 in Tobago,
Trinidad and Tobago.
Talley has made an incredible run in 2009 through the Sun
Belt Conference, NCAA Regionals and NCAA Championships. He was named the 2009
Sun Belt Indoor and Outdoor Freshman of the Year and was an all-conference performer
in both seasons. Now he gets to fulfill a life-long dream by representing not
only North Texas, but the USA.
We got the opportunity to sit down with Talley and ask
him about his expectations along with his thoughts on the 2009 season as a
