| North Texas Up SIx Spots To No. 11 In Mid-Major Poll | ||||||||||

DENTON, Texas (12/31/09) - North Texas Swimming & Diving jumped six spots to No. 11 in the latest CollegeSwimming.com/CSCAA Mid-Major Poll released Tuesday.
The Mean Green sits two spots behind Sun-Belt Conference foe Denver and four spots behind Western Kentucky. North Texas will face both of these opponents at the Sun Belt Championships in Nashville, Tenn., Feb. 17-20, as well as two more Division I Major ranked teams in No. 18 Arkansas and No. 6 Texas A&M. The Mean Green jumps back into the pool Jan. 6 in Little Rock, Ark., when they take on Arkansas- Little Rock and Henderson State, before traveling to Fayetteville, Ark., to face-off with Arkansas Jan. 9. North Texas will host two more home meets, Jan. 22 vs. Houston, who is receiving votes in the Major poll, and Jan. 23 vs. Rice. |
