Players and coaches on both teams spoke about their favorite things about college, and how staying in school can help each of them "when they grow up".

"I started playing basketball when I was a little kid, and it has definitely helped me stay focused in school," said junior guard Collin Mangrum at Tuesday's talk. "There's nothing more important for your future than a college education."

Both the Mean Green men and women return to the floor in November to tip off the 2009-10 season. The men open the year at home against Cameron on Nov. 13 and the women take on George Washington in their home opener on Nov. 17.
