2009: Named honorable mention All-America by Sports Illustrated … Played in all 12 games, while starting the last eight … Led the Sun Belt Conference in scoring despite only starting the last eight games of the season … Finished 15th in the nation and second in the conference in rushing at 114.83 yards per game … His 17 rushing touchdowns ranked fifth nationally and his 19 total touchdowns ranked seventh nationally … His 1,378 total yards rushing was the fourth-highest single-season total in North Texas history and the fifth-most yards in a season in Sun Belt Conference history … His 6.9 yard-per-carry average ranked second in the NCAA among backs with at least 200 carries … Finished the year ranked 11th in the nation in scoring with an average of 9.5 points per game … Averaged 143.6 yards per game, and scored 15 touchdowns in his eight conference games … In his eight games as a starter he averaged 147.5 yards per game and scored 15 touchdowns … Was the only back in the conference to rush for 200 yards in a game, a feat he accomplished twice with 238 yards against Florida Atlantic and 227 yards against Western Kentucky … Held the top three single-game rushing performances of the year in the Sun Belt Conference … One of only four backs in the nation to have multiple 200-yard rushing games in the season … Had eight 100-yard rushing games -  two more than any running back in the conference …  Named Sun Belt Conference Offensive Player of the Week once … Also had 28 receptions for 300 yards and two touchdowns.
