NT Men’s XC Breaks Through Regional Rankings |

DENTON, Texas (10/15/12) - After a strong showing at the Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival hosted by the University of Arkansas, the North Texas men's cross country team ran into the United States Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association's South Central Region rankings for the first time this season appearing at No. 13. The men took 14th overall with a total team score of 353. Sun Belt Conference foes UALR, Georgia State, Louisiana-Lafayette and Arkansas State finished behind North Texas as well as LSU, TCU and Arkansas. North Texas will return to action at the Sun Belt Conference Championships. The SBC Championships will be held at the Western Kentucky Cross Country Course in Bowling Green, Ky., and will take place on Sat. Oct. 27. |
