STILLWATER, Okla. - Mean Green women's cross country took 15th at the 73rd Annual Cowboy Jamboree Saturday morning with senior Sara Dietz pacing the team with a 27th place finish.

Dietz, who cross the line in 18:10.46, finished 69 spots better than her nearest teammate.

Freshman Elisha Arends (96) and Blake Geary (109) were the second and third finishers for North Texas who totaled 405 points as a team on the womens side.

Michael Sandoval again led the men's side, finishing just in front of sophomore Matt Russ in 161 place with a time of 26:41.67. Russ clocked in at 26:41.95 as the 162 person to finish the race.

The Mean Green men captured 26th place with a total of 751 points, finishing ahead of TCU and Oral Roberts.

North Texas cross country will take to the course again at the Chili Pepper Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark., Oct. 15.
