2012: Thompson threw for a career-high 2,649 yards and 14 touchdowns last season…..The 2,649 passing yards rank fourth all-time in a single season at North Texas…..He is only the second NT quarterback since 1995 to throw for 2,000 yards in a single season....Thompson topped the 200-yard passing mark in seven consecutive games, which was the second most in school history….Led North Texas in total offense at 222.9 yards a game….He tossed for a career-high 333 yards and two TD’s at ULM, which was his fourth 300-yard passing game in his career and the second of the season….Thompson passed for over 300 yards for the third time in his career, and topped the 200-yard mark for the seventh straight game against Arkansas State as he threw for 316 yards....Against MTSU, threw for 221 yards and one touchdown pass....In the win over Louisiana-Lafayette, his 78-touchdown pass was the game winner. Finished that night with 282 yards and two touchdowns...Tossed for 252 yards against Houston. Threw for 256 yards and two touchdowns in the win at FAU....Had a 68-yard touchdown strike to Brelan Chancellor at Florida Atlantic....Thompson passed for 236 yards and one touchdown against Troy. Had a 50-yard TD pass against Troy.....Broke the school record for completion percentage in a game as he completed 25-of-28 passes at Kansas State.....Thompson’s completion percentage of 89.2 against Kansas State broke the school record he previously held....He had one touchdown pass and 219 yards against Kansas State. Threw for 145 yards in the win over Texas Southern.....Tossed two touchdown passes against No. 1 LSU, including an 80-yard score, which is tied for the seventh longest in school history.

2011: Finished the season with 1,759 passing yards, 11 touchdowns, 57.7 percent completion rating and a 120.98 quarterback efficiency rating all of which were career highs ... Finished with the fifth-most passing yards in a single season at North Texas since 1995 ...  Set a North Texas single-game record by completing 82 percent of his passes - going 31-of-38 to lead North Texas to its first win ever at Troy ... Totaled 185 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 50 carries ... Completed 20 of his 35 passes for 254 yards and two touchdowns against Western Kentucky ... Named Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week after throwing for 331 yards against Troy, one yard short of tying his career high  ... Completed a career-high 31 of 38 passes with two passing touchdowns and another rushing for the goal line ... Eclipsed the 300-yard mark for the first time in his career against ULM ... 2010: Played in three games and started one before falling to injury ... Threw for 83 yards on 11-of-18 passing with one interception and no touchdowns ... Ran six times for 17 yards ... Completed all three of his pass attempts and gained 29 through the air against Clemson ... Threw for 43 yards and ran for 13 more at Army ... Completed two of four passes for 11 yards against Rice ... Rushed for one first down on two fourth down rushing attempts.

2009: Played in the season finale against Arkansas State and led North Texas on a 68-yard touchdown drive in the final minute of the game ... Threw for 60 yards and one touchdown and was three-for-three passing.

High School/Personal: Completed 180-of-302 pass attempts for 2,627 yards and 26 touchdowns and rushed for 629 yards on 98 carries and had 13 touchdowns in 2008 ... Was named the 2008 Offensive Player of  the Year in District 7-3A ... Led his team to the quarterfinals of the state playoffs in 2007 and the team finished with a 10-4 record, the best in school history ... Named the District 12-3A MVP in 2007 while completing 183-of-315 pass attempts  for 2,646 yards and 24 touchdowns ... Rushed for 443 yards on 91 carries along with seven touchdowns in 2007 ... In 2007 he was an honorable mention selection on the Texas Sports Writers Association Class 3A all-state team ...
